We services across the Pilbara and Perth regions with a focus on response to and restoration and healing from the effects of family and domestic violence.
The Salvation Army operates two family violence refuges and crisis accommodation services in the Pilbara and Perth regions. The Perth site includes six crisis rooms for women without dependent children in their care and six family units. The Pilbara site includes four single units for women without children in their care and 10 family units.
Support includes risk assessment, safety planning, onsite counselling for women, children and young people, advocacy, support accessing grants and payments, and referrals to other services such as legal, wellbeing, mental health, housing and health services.
Our outreach programs operate across Perth and the Pilbara regions and provide post-crisis support and case management to adult victim survivors of family and domestic violence. Support includes risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, support accessing grants or other payments, referrals to other services and limited financial assistance related to safety.

Our services in Perth provide 10 transitional accommodation units for women and children victim survivors exiting refuge and crisis accommodation. Residents receive support for the next step of their journey to recovery including ongoing safety planning, court support, support exploring safe and stable housing options, support accessing education and employment, and advocacy.
Our services in the Perth and Pilbara regions provide specialist case management and therapeutic supports to children and young people accessing our refuge, crisis and transitional accommodation services.
Our chaplain works alongside practitioners and clients in the Perth region to listen and support people in times of crisis, providing group sessions, advocacy, debriefing, education, support in times of grief and loss, and faith pathways when needed. Our chaplain is a skilled listener who respects the spirituality of all members of our community and provides a high level of professional confidentiality and spiritual care. The chaplaincy service is provided to women accessing our accommodation services.
