We provide a wide range of specialist family violence responses across South East and North Queensland which include specialist family violence case management and recovery services for victim survivors of family violence.
South East and North Queensland
Our family and domestic violence refuge services in the South East and North Queensland are for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence. Support includes:

Housing partnerships
We are a network partner in the RISE2 Foundation, established by the Zonta Club and in collaboration with Coast2Bay Housing Group. Our practitioners provide trauma-informed case management services for women and children victim survivors in community-based housing, with a focus on safety, recovery and empowerment.
Sunshine Coast and Mackay
These services provide specialist family violence case management responses to victim survivors of family and domestic violence. Support includes:

Mackay region
We co-locate with Queensland Police to provide specialist support, information and advice to victim survivors who attend the police station. The embedded practitioner can provide referrals to other services for case management and longer-term supports.
Our Family Violence Counsellor and Specialist Family Violence Therapeutic Practitioner provide psychoeducation and healing and recovery-focused supports for adult victim survivors engaged in both residential and outreach services.
Specialist therapeutic responses are provided for children across the residential and outreach services in both South East and North Queensland. The Specialist Children’s Practitioner provides trauma-informed, child-centred and culturally safe supports, with a focus on recovery from experiences of family violence.
To provide holistic responses for victim survivors accessing our Alcohol and Other Drug services who have intersecting experiences of family violence, a Senior Specialist Family Violence Practitioner is co-located within the service. The Practitioner provides co-case management responses; secondary consults and capacity building for staff to enhance the experience of victim survivors accessing the services and to support their safety.
