If you're experiencing homelessness or seeking assistance, we are here for you.

The Salvation Army is one of the largest providers of homelessness services in Australia.

We believe every person deserves dignity, respect and quality of service, and that no one should be without a safe, affordable and secure home. We are committed to providing accessible homelessness services to adults and families with accompanying children. Our services include accommodation, case management services, assertive outreach support, advocacy, limited financial assistance, counselling and meals, as well as connection and referral to other specialist services.

Our services are free, voluntary, accredited and delivered by professional and committed staff. Each service has different eligibility criteria and referral pathways.

We do not publicise the physical addresses of some of our services or accommodation locations to ensure the privacy and protection of residents.

We also have several specialist services for people experiencing homelessness that are designed to meet unique community needs including people living in rural areas, veterans, courts and prisons, older people and families. We look at each person’s situation and provide a tailored program to suit their needs.

What is homelessness?

Homelessness can take many forms, and most people experiencing homelessness go unseen.
