The Salvation Army Family and Domestic Violence Services in Tasmania deliver services with a focus on the response to and restoration and healing from the effects of family and domestic violence.
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Our family and domestic violence refuge and crisis accommodation service operates in the south of Tasmania. The service includes 10 self-contained units for women and women with children who are fleeing family and domestic violence, and an additional 8 transitional units for women and women with children who are experiencing homelessness.

Our outreach service supports women and children victim survivors for up to 12-months after their stay in the refuge and crisis accommodation service. This service supports people with the next steps of their journey and provides ongoing risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, case management, emotional support and referrals to other services such as legal, wellbeing, mental health, housing and health services.
