Project One 

The large complex of 38 x 1-bedroom and 2 x 2-bedroom units for social housing.  Housing QLD and Salvation Army funding for capital improvements on Salvation Army owned land. 

  • Outcome: 38 x 1-bedroom and 2 x 2-bedroom units for social housing.  
  • Cost: $32.9 million   
  • Due date of completion: May 2026  
  • Government involvement: Queensland Government funding

South East Queensland Projects 

Project Two  

Award winning: Property Council State and Territory Development of the Year award. 

Our Chermside Project of 26 units (21 x 2-bedroom and 5 x 3-bedroom) is our first purpose built affordable housing complex in QLD. It will provide long term housing to families eligible under our affordable housing policy and connected to local Salvation Army support services. 

Outcome: 21 x 2-bedroom and 5 x 3-bedroom units

  • Cost: $11.5 million 
  • Date of completion: August 2021

Project Three 

In conjunction with The Salvation Army Homelessness, the project comprises of 58 fully self-contained units/studios - 1 x 3-bedroom, 1 x 2-bedroom, and 56 x 1-bedroom units. 

  • Outcome: 1 x 3-bedroom, 1 x 2-bedroom, and 56 x 1-bedroom units  
  • Government involvement: Homes Queensland funding

Project Four 

New 23 apartment building (4 x 2-bedroom and 19 x 1-bedroom) developed in collaborative project with Queensland Division and local Corps, built on a previous Salvos Thrift shop. 

  • Outcome: Four x 2-bedroom and 19 x one-bedroom apartments 
  • Cost: $15.8 million 
  • Date of completion: June 2025 
  • Government involvement: Queensland Government under the QHIGI Program
