Parenting programs

Free programs delivered across the City of Wyndham and City of Melton regions of Victoria (funded by the Australian Government).

Aboriginal Nurture Aunt

Our Aboriginal Nurture Aunt is a dedicated Aboriginal parenting support practitioner who delivers culturally safe parenting support. This includes Naluk Njaguda Garina, a Koori Kids Club for families to come together and experience culture through activities and ceremony.

These sessions allow children to build a strong sense of identity and belonging, and they support cultural learning through storytelling and connection with Elders. Families strengthen relationships while living and learning culture.

Individual support

We offer free, personalised support for parents and carers of children aged 0–18 years. Our parenting support practitioners create tailored support plans to suit your family’s needs. We focus on a psycho-education approach to build knowledge confidence and practical skills within the family environment.

We can support you with:

  • Building your child’s emotional intelligence
  • Navigating developmental stages
  • Establishing family routines
  • School readiness and transitions
  • Understanding and responding to behaviours
  • Emotion coaching
  • Support for new parents

During periods of high demand, support may be delayed. We will contact you as soon as possible.
