Kids and young people

SAGALA

Wednesday, 5–6.30pm

Salvation Army Guarding and Legion Activities (SAGALA) is a Christian-based life skills program similar to Scouts and Guides. Children aged 5-17 years learn basic first aid, outdoor skills, home skills and are involved in active service to the community.

Tuesday, 10–11.30am

This is a morning full of fun for young children and their parents or caregivers. Enjoy music with actions while children build their coordination, social skills and confidence.

Sewing group

Monday, 9.30–11.30am

Our sewing group is a friendly space to learn, create and share ideas with others. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’re welcome to come along, connect and enjoy making something by hand.

Tuesday, 10am

Our bike repair group brings people together to learn basic maintenance, fix their bikes and pick up new skills. It’s a great way to connect with others while keeping your wheels in good shape.

Christianity Explained

Have you ever wondered what the Christian faith is all about? Do you know about God and the Bible but don't really understand what’s what? Christianity Explained is a six-lesson course based on the Gospel of Mark which helps you understand the foundations of faith in Jesus Christ.

Third Saturday of the month, 9am–1pm

Cost: $12

If you have a love for craft, join our group for a morning of creativity and conversation. You can also bring along some of your own supplies and join in the fun!

Men's breakfast — BLOB

Men's breakfast — BLOB

Second Saturday of the month, 8am

Cost: $5

Blokes loving our breakfast (BLOB) is a men's breakfast group. Join us for breakfast and with other men in the community.

Women's connect group — CAMEO

Wednesday, 9.30am

Come and meet each other (CAMEO) is a Christian women's fellowship group for senior women. Come and enjoy a delicious morning tea, teaching and fellowship.

Want to get involved as a volunteer for a ministry team or community activity? 

We have many opportunities to volunteer with us. Some of the activities include: 

  • Kitchen support including making lunches for schools 
  • Christmas cheer support 
  • Christmas gift wrapping 
  • Administrative support 
  • Gardens and grounds maintenance
