The Salvation Army Australia Music

Songsters

Singing groups within The Salvation Army are known as “Songsters”.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Psalm 100:1–2, NIV

Who are we?

These choirs are made up of men and women of all ages who are part of a Salvation Army church and sing to God (worship) and encourage others to do the same. There are many songster groups around Australia (and the world) who participate in bringing vibrant and heartfelt worship to churches, schools and community events such as carols services.
