What I'm passionate about: Providing tailored guidance and options to people using a non-judgemental approach. Non-work interests include psychology, creativity, and baking sweet treats to share!

My top money tip: Know your limits and remember what matters most to you — let those guide your money choices. Look at a budget as something that reinforces your values and provides clarity, not restriction.

What I’m passionate about: Financial education for young people and assisting people who’ve experienced gambling harm.

My top money tip: Never go through money struggles alone. There’s so much value in talking to loved ones openly and honestly about finances. Also remember that it’s always a good time to talk to a financial counsellor if you’re worried about bills, debt, or expenses.

What I’m passionate about: Working with newly arrived migrants, especially from Afghanistan and northern Sri Lanka. I understand the cultural nuances of community members from these regions, and I believe I can help them navigate their early years in Australia and settle in.

My top money tip: Teach them young and it’s never too late to take charge of one’s financial future.

What I’m passionate about: Outside of work, that would be my crafts. I pick up a new craft interest every year or two (my current project is jewellery-making). I’m also passionate about my animals and I have a lot of them — 11 guinea pigs, two dogs, two birds, one cat, and one lizard!

My top money tip: Automate your savings. Set up a direct debit for the day or day after you get paid to ensure that money gets put aside for the unexpected expenses that inevitably pop up.

What I’m passionate about: Supporting small business operators experiencing financial hardship. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and soaking up the great outdoors with my wife in our camper trailer.

My top money tip: If you find yourself facing financial hardship, don’t bury your head in the sand. Contact your creditors and let them know about your financial hardship, they may be surprisingly supportive.

What I’m passionate about: I come from a long line of seamstresses and gardeners, so I’m especially happy when I am making, doing or mending.

What I love about my role: Seeing the transformation in people — someone may walk in feeling overwhelmed and uncertain and leave with confidence in their abilities and hope for the future.

What I’m passionate about: Supporting vulnerable people so they feel empowered and never left behind. Knowing they’re not alone on this journey makes all the difference.

My top money tip: Save, even if it’s just $10 a week — building a small emergency fund gives you peace of mind and a safety net for unexpected expenses.

Intake Service Operator

Location: South Australia

What I’m passionate about: Self-care. I make it a priority to look after my well-being through daily walks, getting some sunshine, meditation, and using calming essential oils. I also love getting away whenever I can to reset and recharge. I believe you need to take care of yourself first in order to take care of your finances.

My top money tip: Always check your electricity bills — they typically indicate whether a cheaper plan is available. If a better option is suggested, simply contact your provider to discuss switching.
