FYRST

A support service for young people 12-25 years who would like to address their alcohol and drug issues.

FYRST (Follow-On Youth Recovery Support Team) is a free service that offers flexible and individual support within a case management model. 

FYRST also offers support to those who are completing, or have completed detox, rehab or are leaving detention. It provides a mobile support team that can visit a client's home, meet at a cafe or pick up a client from local transport.

How to access this service:

Anyone can refer a person to FYRST, including young people who want to be supported through the service themselves.

Families can also get assistance from FYRST with information, education, referrals and support.

  • Psychological Intervention for AOD and complex mental health needs
